Blizzard has confirmed that it’s begun rolling out a hotfix designed to eliminate the invulnerable wizard glitch, which made characters in the class practically unkillable.

Diablo 3 has been around for quite some time and, over the last few months, plenty of exploits and issues have appeared.

The latest and most serious problem surfaced yesterday, when players uncovered an easy way of turning a Wizard character into an invulnerable god by using certain powers in quick succession.

Now, Blizzard has confirmed that a hotfix is currently being rolled out in the game’s three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia).

The studio will continue to monitor the exploit and asks players to report any similar issues to its Hacks team, in order to keep the game as fair and as balanced as possible.

As of yet, it seems that players who used the exploit won’t be punished in any way.
