Players should refrain from interacting with the Templar follower

Diablo 3 players have encountered a brand-new problem, in the form of Error 3006, which disconnects them from Battle.net servers, thereby preventing them from logging back in and actually playing the game they’d paid for.

Diablo III has just been released all over the world and Blizzard is barely coping with the millions of players that want to access the dungeon crawling RPG.

While many players who were treated with the Error 37 message, which signaled that Blizzard’s servers were full, managed to eventually play the game, a minority of people were faced with a much more serious problem.

According to the Diablo III support forums, players who encountered the Templar follower and exchanged items with him, like a shield, were suddenly kicked from Battle.net servers and couldn’t log back in.

Instead of accessing the game they paid for, they were met with Error 3006 which, as of yet, is unfixable through any sort of workaround.

Blizzard is aware of this game-breaking bug, but has yet to reveal when the issue will be solved.

Until then, Diablo III players are advised to ignore the Templar follower until further notice.
