Blizzard has talked about Diablo 3 on consoles and said that, while the game has been confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 devices, it won't be exclusive to those consoles, hinting that Xbox 360 and possibly even Xbox 720 editions are in the works.

Diablo 3 entertained millions of RPG fans from around the world on the PC and Mac since its release back in May of last year.

Now, Blizzard is working hard on the console versions of the dungeon crawler, confirming last month that Diablo 3 is going to appear on the PS3 and the newly-revealed PlayStation 4.

Now, speaking at PAX East with PAR, Blizzard's Lead Designer, Joshua Mosqueira, said that, while he can't confirm anything, Diablo 3 isn't "necessarily a Sony exclusive."

Seeing as how Microsoft has yet to confirm a Xbox 720 next gen console, it's possible that Blizzard is awaiting the official word from the console make to confirm Diablo 3 on that platform and on the Xbox 360.
