Players of Diablo 3 have uncovered a brand new exploit in the role-playing dungeon crawler, this time affecting the Barbarian class, which offers players a continuous “life leech” ability, meaning they deal damage and regenerate their health at the same time.

Diablo III has been around for over two months and, ever since its launch in May, players have been uncovering various exploits in the game, causing developer Blizzard lots of problems.

We already saw a pretty serious glitch appear earlier this week, which rendered Wizard characters invulnerable.

After Blizzard patched this up, players have now uncovered a brand new issue with the game that affects Barbarians.

Apparently, if players unleash a Furious Charge attack with the Dreadnought Rune right before the Cydaea cutscene, who is a minor boss from the Arreat Crater in the game’s Act III, the game perceives all movements into enemies as continuous Furious Charge attacks, meaning a permanent life leech effect is damaging enemies and healing the player at the same time.

The exploit apparently works on all difficulty settings, so it’s going to be interesting to see how fast Blizzard patches it up.
