14 DAY TRIAL // “Dexter” airs its eighth and final season this summer so, with a couple more months to go, Showtime is showing lots of restraint in promoting it. A new teaser has been released and, as usual, you can see it in full above.
Like many other “Dexter” videos, this too includes zero new footage but still manages to be quite effective in keeping fans on their toes, mostly with the promise that their favorite serial killer will return – for the last time – bigger and badder than ever.
In the new teaser, you will recognize scenes from previous seasons, like that of Dexter’s first kill and with some of the biggest killers that he took out, but also the cliffhanger at the end of season 7.
If I ever saw a promise that a finale would do justice to one of the most popular (anti)heroes created for the small screen, this is probably it.
“He's still got it. The end begins June 30th at 9PM ET/PT,” Showtime says. Will you be tuning in?
