If watching a horror movie is how you’d describe your perfect night out, perhaps you should bear in mind that “Devil’s Due” is coming out in theaters on January 17, 2014. Below is a brand new trailer for it.

This seems just the type of project that made “Paranormal Activity” and “V/H/S” major hits at the box office, combining traditional filming with the found footage technique, and delving into normalcy to reveal the biggest horror.

“Devil’s Due” also plays into the irrational fear that accompanies first-time parenthood, but replaces worries like “will I be a good parent?” and “will my child be healthy?” with the horrifying possibility that it’s the Antichrist.

“After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin,” reads a short synopsis of the film.

Indeed, as the tagline also says, “not all miracles come from God,” and the one that’s about to come into this couple’s life is anything but a godsend.
