Devil May Cry Footage Shows News Station Assault

New footage of the upcoming Devil May Cry has been unveiled. It shows main character Dante assaulting a news station that seems to bear many similarities to Fox News, with Alex Jones, the executive producer on the game, offering commentary about the game and the various mechanics that are shown.

The most interesting thing about the stage is that there’s little of the gothic style that has long defined Devil May Cry, with the dominant colors shifting to red, white and blue, with a number of logos and talking heads accessorizing the area.

The boss fight of the level involves a news anchor that bears many similarities to real-world journalists from Fox News and at one point a helicopter is used to show how Dante was progressing through the level.

The rebooted Devil May Cry, developed by Ninja Theory, will be launched on home consoles before the end of the year.
