A lot of updated packages have been included in this version

Devil-Linux, a distribution created by IT administrators for IT administrators which is primarily used as a router/firewall, is now at version 1.6.0 RC2.

The most important change in Devil-Linux 1.6.0 RC2 is the introduction of a new Linux kernel, version 3.2.4, an update from the previous RC version, which had Linux kernel 3.1.4.

Other important packages that were updated include Bacula 5.2.5, Cmake 2.8.7, MySQL 5.5.20, PHP 5.3.10. iptables 1.4.12.2, and Dovecot 2.0.17.

The developers also added a number of Perl modules and have included a few bugfixes. A complete list of updates can be found in the official changelog.

Download Devil-Linux 1.6.0 RC2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
