Devil-Linux, a distribution created by IT administrators for IT administrators, which is primarily used as a router/firewall, is now at version 1.6.0.

After three release candidates, the developers added a number of new packages and have included a few updates for existing ones. Other changes include:

· Linux kernel 3.2.14; · ClamAV was updated to 0.97.4; · MySQL was updated to 5.5.21; · A problem with checkfs init script was fixed; · Changed PAM dovecot,login,sshd,vsftpd,su, and sudo files to prevent a user from logging in for 60 minutes after 5 unsuccessful logon attempts3; · Switched standard password hash algorithm to SHA-512 (sl); · OpenSS was updated to 1.0.0h; · Removed -D from squid init script, as the parameter is now obsolete.
