Apple has approved a potentially offensive iPhone app from Games Banner Network Inc. which teaches young girls that plastic surgery is the only ticket to happiness, if they’re fat like Barbara.

We’ll post the app’s description here for a better understanding of how Games Banner Network markets Plastic Surgery for Barbara.

“Barbara likes to eat a lot of burgers and chocolates and once she found out that she looks ugly. She can’t make it up with this situation any additional second. And today plastic surgeon is going to make operation on her body and face in order to return cute Barbara’s look. She is afraid of all of this, but I know you will check that everything is over normally.”

Plastic Surgery for Barbara was originally brought to attention by Rob LeFebvre over at CultofMac.

Rated 12+, the app is not only potentially offensive, but downright misleading and dangerous. Users who’ve downloaded it seem to believe so too, as the reviews up on iTunes are less than endearing.

User Kingpen480 believes Plastic Surgery for Barbara is “stupid” and “cruel.”

“This game shouldn't even exist. It'd make plus size young girls feel bad about their weight and now after this they would think surgery is they way to deal with it! That is not okay!” writes Kingpen480.

Reviewer PewdieLily says, “It's really gross when you have to vacuum out the fat. It's also a little offensive.”

Another customer, identified as ZepFan77, believes that “This game should not be marketed to kids, [as] it is offensive and teaches the fat shaming is ok and that girls are not ok they way that they are.”

“This game tears down girls and tells them they have to look a certain way in order to be accepted,” according to ZepFan77. This person thinks the game should be immediately removed. Do you guys agree?
