After yesterday's rumor that the Xbox 720 next-gen console requires a constant internet connection to let users play games or access apps, a developer has hinted that this mandatory requirement is true, telling fans that they need to pay their Internet Service Provider bills.

The Xbox 720 is eagerly awaited by the millions of Xbox 360 owners and, even if Microsoft hasn't commented on its next-gen console, plenty of rumors are flying around the web.

Now, after once again hearing that the new console requires a permanent internet connection as it won't even let owners access games or apps without such a thing, a new report has appeared on the web.

According to The Workshop Entertainment Senior Designer Nikolai Mohilchock, the next Xbox 720 will definitely have some internet-based services and requirements.

"Given that legally I cannot confirm or deny if this information is true, nor can I comment on rumor or speculation, all I can say is be sure to pay your ISP bills," the dev posted on the Evil Avatar forum.

While it's certain that Mohilchock can't really discuss these things due to various agreements with Microsoft, it further solidifies the always-on internet requirement of the Xbox 720.
