Title Consulting Services, Inc. a subsidiary of Action App Corporation is eager to misleadingly spread the word that Apple has approved a bulk of 'eight' new iPhone applications coded by its developers with photography fans in mind.

“Title Consulting Services, Inc. […] subsidiary Action App Corporation is excited to announce that it has released eight new iPhone applications.”

“Action App Corporation has received Apple approval for each of its new iPhone apps, which are now available through the iStore in more than 80 countries,” the announcement reads.

They should be quite excited to have received Apple’s approval, going by how big of a ripoff this move appears to be (at least at first glance).

There are actually four new applications, not eight. Half of them are Lite versions of the same app, and while it’s thoughtful to let people try-before-they-buy, false advertising is not the least bit appreciated.

They’re each priced at 99 cents, and each one offers a SINGLE photography effect to apply (like Black and White), nothing more, nothing less.

Needless to point out, a pro-level app like Camera+ incorporates dozens of such effects and tweaks, as well as other neat post-editing functions and, guess what? It costs just 2 bucks!

Admittedly, Action App Corporation does provide lite versions, therefore customers aren’t actually “deceived” into buying an app with very limited functionality. Here they are, by the way.

"We are very pleased with the initial rankings of these new apps and hope that one or more will go viral,” said TITL Chief Executive Officer Dustin Secor.

“We will continue to expand and deliver more apps through our Action App Corporation and provide entertainment to our customer base and increase value to our shareholders," Secor added.

Yes, well, hopefully we’ll see less talk and more action in the future.

We’d hate to have to report one day that Apple’s App Store is leading the pack partially because it features bulk-application offerings such as this one.
