Well-known games publisher and developer Square Enix has announced that its Mobile division, in collaboration with EIDOS Montreal and N-Fusion, has just released Deus Ex: The Fall, the latest installment in the Deus Ex series, on Google Play Store.

Deus Ex: The Fall is the first in the series to be available on mobile and tablet devices. Just like its predecessors from other gaming platforms, Deus Ex: The Fall is a story-driven action RPG featuring never before seen characters from the novel published by Random House, Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect.

Graphics-wise, Square Enix states that the game features “stunning graphics, sound and music,” as well as intuitive touch screen controls. Developers have also confirmed that Deus Ex: The Fall includes fully explorable environments and “high impact action and combat.”

It is also worth mentioning that the game has been specially developed to allow Android gamers to play the way they feel comfortable, full action or stealth. Some social and hacking skills have been included as well to add more immersion.

Here is the game’s background story as depicted by developers:

“Deus Ex: The Fall is set in 2027 – a golden era for science, technology and human augmentation, but also a time of great social divide and global conspiracy. Powerful corporations have seized control from governments and command the drug supply needed by augmented humans to survive.

In this chaos Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary who underwent physical augmentation, is desperate for the truth behind the drug conspiracy. Betrayed by his private military employers, the Tyrants, not only is his own life at risk but for all augmented humans, time is running out…”

You can now download Deus Ex: The Fall for Android for £4.99 / €5.99 / $6.99 via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 3.2 and up.
