Deus Ex: Human Revolution might have been pushed back a little, but the fans are still eager to find out new information about the video game and the developers are working hard to make sure that they know what to expect when the title is finally released.

Recent rumors suggested that the new Deus Ex title would use a sort of dynamic difficulty mode, with the game watching how well the player is doing and scaling the difficulty accordingly, to make sure that experienced players got a tough fight on their hands.

But it seems that the information was not right and the developers have set the record straight.

David Anfossi, who is a producer working on Deus Ex: Human Revolution, has told PC Gamer that, “No. We have three difficulty settings: Easy, Normal and Hard. There’s no adaptation of the difficulty at all, we don’t have anything like that.”

We also now know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is set to take about 20 to 25 hours to play through for a good player who is interested in seeing as much as possible of the game.

There were a lot of sections in the original that required more than one try to get through so that playing time could be on the low side for many gamers.

The developers at Eidos who are working on Deus Ex: Human Revolution have also said that they are creating an experience that is designed to be replayed, with every situation having multiple paths to a solution.

The developers have demoed one level recently showing how different the experience of going through is for those who focus on combat, those who prefer stealth and those who like to talk their way out of tricky situations.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is slated for a launch date of late spring for the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC.
