Eidos Montreal's Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a superb game that inspired many people to great deeds, from cosplay to fanfic, and there have also been several live action attempts, re-enacting various gameplay elements.

Among the game's many strong points, there are the ability to knock out annoying subway dancing punks and infiltrate various buildings unnoticed, without ever being spotted, and utilizing non-lethal take-down techniques only when necessary. Apart from the authentic and plausible dystopian future atmosphere, of course.

Human Revolution is a short film made by director Moe Charif, attempting to recreate the atmosphere and visual style of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, along with some of the game's unique gameplay elements, and judging from the trailer, it's going to be spot on.

The characters seem to be very well cast and the effects look great, as far as fan-made movies go, with well-made costumes, high quality visual effects, right down to Adam Jensen's chain smoker voice, clearly inspired by Bruce Willis films he saw as a child.

"Robocop's not coming," aw, that guy's like a walking trope out of '80s action movies. That's our cue to go "Aw snap, are you in for a surprise." Wait, Sarif is also based in Detroit.

Human Revolution premieres online on March 25, at 15:00 EST / 19:00 GMT.
