A third person died after a shooting in Detroit earlier this week. Officials confirmed the third death on Thursday, while the first two victims were pronounced dead on the spot.

One man has been arrested after the shooting that also left six people injured. Detroit Police Chief James Craig reported that they had arrested a suspect in Rochester on Thursday. He is currently in police custody.

Craig detailed that the shooter was wearing body armor, which suggests a premeditated assault.

The suspect has a criminal record, My Fox Detroit adds. His name and the names of the victims remain undisclosed.

Police were looking for the drivers and passengers of a 2004 black Impala and a 2004 white Impala after the shooting at Al's Barbershop on Seven Mile Road and Keystone.
