Destroy All Humans! is a videogame developed by Pandemic Studios LLC and published by THQ Inc. The game was created for the PlayStation 2 console from Sony and for the original Xbox from Microsoft. It was released in June 2005. The title is classed as an action game played from a third person perspective, with science fiction elements.

Destroy All Humans! is a game that borrows heavily from the aesthetic and the themes present in the sci fi of the 1950's. You are basically a representative of an alien race which, after traveling to Mars and obliterating the inhabitants of the Red Planet, makes a stop on Earth to wipe out the human race. The reason is the lack of reproductive capability of the species, which can be solved by cloning. Unfortunately (for us), cloning requires the Furon to get human DNA.

The main character is named Crypto and has a host of abilities. He can hypnotize and scan people and also has the ability to use psychokinesis. He has a variety of weapons he can use: Zap-o-Matic, disintegrator ray, abducto beam, quantum deconstructor and anal probe. You can always contact your mothership in order to save the game, get new missions and better weapons. The Furon will not get the Earth easily and you will face the police, the military and even more secretive defensive forces.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Hoverboarding

In Rockwell, go to the drive-in movie. There should be a car somewhere nearby in the drive-in. PK the car and throw it at the screen. Part of it should break off. PK the piece and bring it to an open field with no people around. Jump on it and PK it while you are on it. Start running while you have it PKed. It should act as a giant hover board. Note: There is a certain spot you have to PK and run on it or you will fall off. Also, do not turn too far to the left because it is the flat side and you will fall off.

On the Capitol City level, you can make your own hoverboard. First, purchase all of the Psychokinesis upgrades from the Mothership. Travel to Capitol City. Enable the "Bulletproof Crypto," "Ammo a Plenty," and "Deep Thinker" cheats. Go to the Washington Monument and throw tanks and army transport trucks at it until it breaks. Climb to the top of the larger piece and lock onto it with your mind. Pk it so it lifts up with you on it. You can now leisurely float around the city on your "hoverboard." Note: Stay away from the water; if the piece falls in, it will be gone for good.
