The development team at Bungie is today introducing a new installment for the Trials of Osiris game mode for Destiny, and gamers will be able to do battle on a map called The Cauldron, which is associated with the Dark Below expansion.

The company is using its Twitter account to give the community an official map that can be used by teams to prepare their tactics before they actually jump into the experience.

Trials of Osiris is an end-game experience that involves teams of three players who battle in order to win five rounds as quickly as possible.

No respawns are included and solid rewards are offered by Brother Vance to those who perform well.

The current rewards include items like The Infinite Theorem, Cover of the Exile, Hood of the Exile, and Helm of the Exile.

Both Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders for Destiny run on a weekly schedule, giving gamers more variety than traditional end-game activities in the Bungie social shooter.

The studio is aiming to deliver another hotfix update next week

Bungie has explained that it will introduce a new set of changes to the game at some point during next week, with the patch labeled 1.2.0.3.

The company says that it wants to tweak Prison of Elders, introducing more regularity to the mode and making sure that the end boss does not unfairly defeat players.

No full list of changes has been offered so far and it seems that other mechanics might also be modified.

Bungie is also working on a new expansion for Destiny, which is called The Taken King and is rumored to be arriving on all platforms on September 15.

Leaks are saying that the studio is aiming to deliver an entirely new environment for gamers to explore, while also giving them more subclasses in order to customize their characters in unique ways.

Bungie might offer an official reveal and first look at the planned changes during the coming E3 2015 event.

Until then, the community will also get access to another end-game raid, which was not included in the House of Wolves expansion when it arrived on May 19.
