Bungie is working hard on House of Wolves

Video game developer Bungie is announcing that the Iron Banner event for Destiny is now live once again for all interested players and that it has made an important change to the way it is accessed from the interface.

An official message from the Twitter account of the company explains that gamers who are looking for the activity in the classic Crucible menu will be unable to find it as access is now gained from the main Director interface of the social shooter.

The company is not offering any information about why it has chosen to make this change, which many Destiny players might find confusing when they first try to get into Iron Banner.

The studio is also not saying whether the Director access to the event is a long-term modification or it will use the Crucible interface only in the coming incarnations of the activity.

Iron Banner is a Player versus Player event that allows gamers to get access to new items for their Guardians to use.

The structure allows players to test the power of their character against other gamers who are not satisfied with only taking out computer-controlled opponents.

House of Wolves is coming to Destiny in May 19

Iron Banner can be used to prepare a Guardian for the coming launch of the House of Wolves expansion, which is currently set to be deployed on all platforms on May 19 and comes with an associated patch.

Bungie has said that new strikes and a range of equipment is being added to Destiny, all of them designed to add a new dimension to the experience.

Unfortunately, fans will not be able to play through an entirely new end-game raid similar to Crota's End and House of Glass.

The development team says that one such activity is in development and it will be introduced before the end of the year, with feedback from players taken into account in its creation.

It is unclear if there are plans to make it an integral part of another rumored expansion, codenamed Comet, or if it will be introduced as free content for all players.

Until then, the developers are planning to focus on eliminating any bugs with Destiny and on adding more events for the community to enjoy.
