The development team at Bungie is announcing that this week's edition of the Bungie Bounty event for Destiny will be focused on a clan which has long been associated with the shooter genre, known as TTL Gunslingers.

The official announcement explains that the list of titles they have been involved with includes: Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Borderlands, TitanFall, Gears of War, GTA, Red Dead, Chromehounds, Ace Combat, and Day Z.

The community members who are interested in taking them out in order to earn bragging rights and a reward from the developers will need to log into the game on the Xbox One between 6 and 8 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, February 18, and play the Iron Banner mode in Destiny.

Bungie says that "The all-in-one entertainment solution will be the hunting grounds. If you can claim this Bounty, we'll reward you with an emblem to wear like a trophy. It's only fair to warn you that your targets will do their very best to send you home crying."

The players taking part are: TTL Cozmo23, TTLBreakChicago, TTL Goose, TTL Pony, TTL Nightmare, DeeJ BNG (although the post makes it seems like he will not be involved in the actual battles).

The Bungie Bounty event will be offered for the entire community to see on the official Twitch channel of the social shooter.

Destiny is getting ready for a big patch and an expansion

The weekly events for the Bungie title are a good way of keeping gamers engaged with it, but most have already become restless as they wait to get access to entirely new content.

The studio says that a new major patch will be introduced before the end of the month of February and is designed to mainly fix the heavy weapon ammo bug, although there are plans to also make some other tweaks, some potentially linked to Crota's End.

But the big news is that the House of Wolves expansion for Destiny will arrive during the second financial quarter of the year.

Leaks are saying that gamers will get a new major end-game raid and plenty of new gear to push their character to a new level cap.

Bungie has claimed that all the rumors are based on an already outdated version of House of Wolves, and it has said that there are some surprises in store for all fans of Destiny.
