Unclear when a full solution will be deployed

Destiny is a big and complex video game, but the development team at Bungie has managed to deliver the 1.1.1 update without introducing too many new issues for gamers to deal with and the studio is now working to make sure that all players can safely enjoy the improved game experience.

All those who are interested in using the 4th Horseman weapon have found that its stats are currently broken and that the shotgun is much less useful than it should be in a firefight.

In a new article on the Help section of the official site, Bungie says that "The original changes were overwritten during integration, and modified the stats.  Thus, the current Rate of Fire, Inventory and Stability for this weapon were incorrectly updated. We're aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution."

The company is not yet able to offer an ETA for the deployment of a fix and it's unclear whether there are any plans to compensate gamers who are looking to use the 4th Horseman.

The weapon was introduced in The Dark Below, the expansion launched in December of last year, and is only offered to those who are playing Destiny on the PlayStation 4, set to remain an exclusive piece of content until the fall of this year.

This means that a significant segment of players is affected by the 4th Horseman problem and that a fix should arrive as soon as possible.

Bungie has delivered a largely problem-free update

The 1.1.1 update for Destiny is designed to deal with some long-term problems, like the heavy ammo problem, to tweak the overall game balance, and to introduce some changes to the user interface.

After the patch was deployed, the development team took to the official forums and promised that it would continue to listen to feedback, especially when it comes to the changes it is making to weapon power.

The new Inferno game mode for Destiny is being introduced on March 3.

Bungie is also currently working on an entirely new expansion, called House of Wolves, which will add one big raid, similar to Crota's End in size, more strikes and more items that will be needed by Guardians, who will be able to gain even more levels.
