A new report surfaced on the web earlier today hinting that Bungie will release a special version of its upcoming Destiny shooter, called Destiny of Spirits, for the PS Vita.

This has just been denied by the studio, which highlighted that the leaked poster contains an older version of its logo.

Destiny was revealed to the world earlier this year after many months of rumors and teasing, with Bungie confirming that the new title will come out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but also for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720.

Recently, a poster appeared online showing something called Destiny of Spirits for the PlayStation Vita.

Now, the rumor has just been denied by Bungie, who told IGN that the image carried an older version of the studio's logo and that, when it's going to reveal something, it's going to use its enhanced logo.

As such, Bungie fans will have to make do with Destiny on current and next-gen consoles when it comes out in 2014.
