Video game developer Bungie is ready to confirm that it is already working on an entirely new update for Destiny, which is set to be launched before the company delivers the House of Wolves expansion, although it is unclear exactly what issues it will deal with.

The patch also lacks a launch window at the moment, but the studio reveals that gamers will have to wait for a few weeks rather than months.

Bungie is not willing to offer any information on the changes it plans to make to Destiny and is not saying whether update 1.1.2 will focus on a particular element of the shooter or will target a wide array of issues.

Apparently, a variety of developers will be featured in the official weekly update for the game in the coming weeks and will explain how the game is about to change.

Bungie is also announcing that it plans to deliver a new Ride Along event for the community on Friday, March 6, allowing gamers to explore areas of the Moon and to get more information about them from world artist Sam Jones.

Interested players will need to take part either in the game or on Twitch starting at 4 PM Pacific Time.

Bungie is not yet talking about House of Wolves

Update 1.1.1 for Destiny was delivered during the previous week and tackled the long-running problem with heavy ammo, while also introducing a lot of balance changes to the weapons.

The biggest problem with the title at the moment is the fact that the 4th Horseman exclusive weapon for the PlayStation 4 has broken stats.

This might be one of the issues that update 1.1.2 for Destiny will address.

The House of Wolves expansion is officially set to be delivered during the second quarter of the financial year.

Bungie has not offered too many details about it, but leaks have suggested that gamers will get access to a range of new weapons and items that can be used to improve their Guardians and help them reach a new, raised level cap.

As with The Dark Below, the community will also get access to a new late-game raid that's as big as Corta's End, and to more strikes.

Entirely new environments for Destiny might be added in yet another expansion that will arrive later in 2015.
