Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it will be launching the update 1.2.0 for Destiny relatively soon, in order to deliver a range of changes to the social shooter as it prepares for the coming House of Wolves expansion.

The information comes from the official support Twitter account of the company and expands on a message that was posted in the Support section of the official site earlier.

At the moment the developers have not offered a full list of the changes that it is planning to make with update 1.2.0 for Destiny, but it will probably be offering a long log once the patch has gone live.

The fan community will be happy to learn that the long-awaited set of tweaks is finally being implemented but would have liked to be given a clearer launch period in order to complete their activities before they are kicked.

Bungie has not said how big the update 1.2.0 is or how long it will take to make sure that the entire player community has access to it.

The company is probably monitoring the official forums in order to catch and quickly deal with any issues that result from the deployment process.

Destiny is getting House of Wolves on May 19

Initially, update 1.2.0 was understood to arrive at the same time as the new expansion and Bungie has said that it will implement a new balance for the weapons and will eliminate some problems with strikes and raids.

The House of Wolves content for Destiny is designed to enlarge the end-game of the social shooter and to give long-term fans more ways to compete and gain access to rewards.

For the Trials of Osiris, mode gamers will have to join a team of Guardians and then try to get as many successive victories as possible in a mode that emphasizes cooperation and tactics.

More details about the Prison of Elders is set to be introduced later in the day.

Rumors are also saying that Bungie is working on another expansion for Destiny that will be launched later in the year, which will be called The Taken King.
