14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Bungie and publisher Activision announce that their Destiny shooter is set to be launched on all platforms on September 9, 2014 and that a full beta for the title will be offered in the summer of next year on the PlayStation 4 and the PS3.
The company explains in an official announcement that, "Destiny has always represented a new beginning for our team. It was born from brave possibilities. We dreamed of a renewed and independent Bungie. We found partners willing to bet big on some crazy new ideas with us."
The two companies also thank gamers for the way they have reacted to the announcements about Destiny and promise to offer more information on the title in the coming months.
The game is designed to mix classic first person shooter elements with social mechanics, giving players a chance to create a character and then battle among the stars to ensure the survival of humanity.
