The second special event for Destiny has just gone live, in the form of Queen's Wrath, which brings fresh bounties for players to fulfill all around the different planets and environments from the multiplayer-only first-person shooter.

Destiny rolled out at the beginning of the month and brought forth a pretty intriguing online shooter experience that, while a bit repetitive, managed to keep plenty of people hooked on it via its missions, cooperative strike missions, as well as the special raids like the acclaimed Vault of Glass one.

The second major event for Destiny is live

Now, after rolling out patch 1.0.1.4 for the game earlier today, Bungie has confirmed that the second major in-game event for Destiny, titled Queen's Wrath, is available inside the multiplayer experience.

This time around, unlike the first event that brought forth just a dedicated multiplayer playlist, the new one sees a fresh non-playable character appear in the Tower, the social hub of the game, called Petra Venj, which offers players a series of new bounties. Upon completion, the vendor will supply plenty of different legendary gear and items to players.

"The Queen's emissary is prepared to reward Guardians who extinguish the enemies of the Reef. New Bounties will be available, and challenging mission modes await those who prove themselves."

Plenty of bounties and rewards are offered

According to DestinyNews, there are plenty of bounties that will be available from the vendor, challenging players with venturing into the Crucible competitive mode, as well as the Patrol or Story missions.

From defeating other guardians with headshots from certain weapons like hand cannons, scout rifles, or sniper rifles to wearing the unique gear she offers in the PvP encounters, players will have their work cut out for them.

Those who try to complete the Patrol and Story bounties will have to defeat enemies from the Fallen faction, as well as complete Strike missions without dying or defeat certain challenging enemies in various environments.

The rewards include legendary auto and scout rifles, not to mention special helmets and chest armor, bearing a unique design modeled after the Queen of the Awoken race.

It's a limited time event

Bear in mind that the Queen's Wrath event is available in Destiny starting today, September 23, until October 6, so you might want to complete the bounties sooner rather than later, if you want to earn all the new gear.

After this new event, more are coming, including the Iron Banner one for the Crucible competitive mode.
