Even if you have already pre-ordered Destiny on the PlayStation Network, you can still upgrade to the Digital Guardian Edition.

The news comes from Reddit, where a gamer posted the information that existing pre-orders can be upgraded on the PSN, to other bundles such as the Digital Guardian Edition.

This is great, since Sony doesn't allow refunds and some people surely rushed and pre-ordered the game excited about all the juicy reveals made over the last months, only to later regret their decision when Bungie revealed that there was much more coming our way than just the standard edition.

All you have to do in order to change your option of pre-order is to head over to the Destiny portal on PSN and check under bundles. The Digital Guardian Edition includes a digital copy of the online multiplayer shooter, early access to the Vanguard Armory, a Player Emblem, some new missions and some gear, along with the expansion pass.

Bungie's first-person shooter is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and it's coming out on September 9, for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms.

The game's beta is scheduled to take off on July 17 for PlayStation users and on July 23 for Xbox players, with a bit of early access for Sony's fans, as per the agreement between publisher Activision and the Japanese hardware and software giant.
