Sony has released a new video showcasing the Remote Play feature in action, this time around the highlighted game being the highly anticipated Destiny.

The Remote Play feature enables PlayStation 4 owners to utilize their PlayStation Vita devices for streaming the game from their home console, allowing them to play on the go, wherever they have an active Internet connection.

“I spent some time playing Destiny via Remote Play during the Beta and I was really impressed with not only how good it looked on PS Vita’s vivid 5-inch screen, but also how responsive it was. The team over at Bungie actually optimized the controls for Destiny on PS Vita via Remote Play,” SCEA Social Media Manager Sid Shuman said on the PlayStation Blog.

The video shows how the science fiction first-person shooter plays on the PS Vita’s 5-inch screen, alongside revealing the new control scheme, available below, and the innovative features supported on the Vita, such as throwing grenades and performing melee attacks using the touchscreen controls.

During Destiny’s beta test in July, the game racked up the most Remote Play sessions of any PlayStation 4 title, for the entire month.

Destiny is coming out on Tuesday, September 9, coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
