Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny beta stage is now an open one, meaning anyone on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One platforms can download and experience the upcoming multiplayer shooter.

Destiny is one of the biggest games set to debut this fall, and developer Bungie has done a great job getting people excited about the new online first-person shooter.

It's also organized a special alpha test phase on the PS4, and currently the beta stage is underway across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

While up until now the only way to access the beta was by pre-ordering Destiny, it seems that Bungie has decided to open up the test phase to anyone interested in the upcoming shooter, according to the official blog.

As such, across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, or Xbox One, all users can download and experience the thrilling online title.

They'll be met with a special message when starting up their consoles and they can start downloading the beta experience as soon as possible.

Bear in mind that the Destiny beta stage ends on July 27 on all platforms. Tomorrow, July 26, a special community event will be organized for all beta participants through which they can net an exclusive emblem that can be used in the final game.

Destiny debuts on September 9 on all four consoles.
