The computer relies on Core i5/i7 CPUs and NVIDIA high-end graphics

Mini PCs escaped the stigma of “low end” a long time ago, thanks to efforts on the part of hardware makers to render powerful hardware smaller than normal. The ASUS ROG G20 gaming PC is an expression of the culmination of those efforts.

And it doesn't even use laptop hardware, like other mini PCs employ. Instead, it pairs a desktop Core i5 or Core i7 CPU from Intel with an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, as well as up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM.

Although, admittedly, the RAM is laptop-sized (SO-DIMM) and not of the DDR4 type, since this isn't a Haswell-E-powered system.

Still, it's powerful enough to play anything at full settings, although the basic configuration with 2 GB DDR3 and a single GeForce GTX 750 card might not manage that fully.

All in all, the ROG G20 from ASUS has a volume of 12.5 liters and can do everything from watching 4K video to playing 4K games and even editing 3D models and environments.

And as a side benefit, you get an Eco Energy Mode whereby the system lives off only 20W in idle mode. What's more, it can enter home server mode, reducing idle power draw to 10W despite maintaining a connection to the web for whatever other systems/devices you own.

Pricing of the ASUS ROG G20 gaming mini PC will vary by region and specifications.
