US TV hit show "Desperate Housewives" star Joely Fisher is celebrating after becoming a second-time mother. The 38-year-old actress, who plays uptight boss Nina Fletcher in the hit show, gave birth to baby girl True Harlow yesterday at her Los Angeles home. Fisher and her husband, cinematographer Christopher Duddy, already have one daughter, four-year-old Skylar.
The stunning actress and her husband welcomed 7 pounds, 12 ounces baby True Harlow in the early hours of Thursday morning, February 2, 2006. Both the mother and the baby are said to be ok.
The Fisher and Duddy couple met in 1997 at a Hollywood studio and tied the knot soon after that. "The baby is gorgeous and healthy. Everybody is resting comfortably," Joely's representative, Brit Reese, told America's People magazine.
This January, Joely Fisher, who guest stars as Lynette Scavo's stressed boss in the "Desperate Housewives" success sitcom, held a baby shower at the swanky Regent Beverly Wilshire. The invited guests, who were served pink champagne, were asked to design pretty tiles to help the couple decorate the baby's bathroom.
