Designer John Galliano is taunted at airport by paparazzo calling him “racist”

Earlier this year, designer John Galliano fell from grace when, in two separate occasions, she showed himself to be an anti-Semite and a racist. The other day at LAX, he was called just that to his face.

As we also reported at the time, as he was preparing to show his latest collection for Dior at Paris Fashion Week, Galliano was first arrested for making an anti-Semitic tirade and then caught on tape saying he “loved Hitler.”

After an apology and a statement that all the claims were somewhat exaggerated, he was dropped from Dior and he went to rehab to address his alcohol problem.

Now out, Galliano landed at LAX the other day, TMZ reports and the video below will confirm.

“Ex-Dior fashion designer John Galliano – who was fired after launching into a drunken anti-Semitic rant back in February – arrived at LAX yesterday, where HE was on the receiving end of a verbal attack for a change,” TMZ notes.

Upon arrival, he was surrounded by paparazzi, with one of them asking him repeatedly “Would you have done anything differently?,” presumably in connection to his drunken rants, one of which was also caught on tape.

Galliano would not reply and, slowly, he moved away from the paparazzi, which is when one of them taunted him, perhaps in the hope of provoking an answer from him.

“As John got off his plane, a random photographer (not a TMZ guy) shouted at Galliano, ‘[expletive]-ing racist’,” TMZ says.

To his credit, the designer did not respond to the provocation and simply walked away.

As noted above, after the outrageous claims made their way into the press, Galliano tried to downplay the whole scandal saying the couple he was accused of assaulting blew things out of proportion.

Unfortunately for him, there was also a video of him (shot on a different night without his consent), telling some young folks that he “loved Hitler” and that, if he had his way, they’d be dead in concentration camps because they were “ugly.”

Below is video of Galliano being taunted at the airport.
