Derek and Julianne Hough Rock Out on DWTS

After two years of absence, dancer, actress, singer and overall stunner Julianne Hough has finally returned to Dancing With the Stars. Not only that, but, the other night, she also teamed up with her brother Derek for the best dance of the season so far.

Derek and Julianne have paired before, but either the time elapsed since the last time they did or the sheer awesomeness of them as a couple made the other night truly special.

Julianne will be seen next in “Footloose,” a remake of the movie of the same name (a cult classic), and she came on DWTS to promote it.

Since she’s a dancer, what better way to do that than by doing what she does best. Julianne did two routines, one with her “Footloose” co-star Kenny Wormald, and the other with “Derek.”

They descended the stairs to “Shake Your Tail Feather,” dressed in matching suits. The next thing you know, they owned the dancefloor, as the video below will confirm.

What’s even more amazing, voices online are pointing out, is that Derek dislocated his shoulder during rehearsals, with sources telling the US glossies that he was actually in a lot of pain throughout the entire energetic, very challenging routine.

Speaking of the reunion and her return to DWTS, Julianne told People magazine that she was a bit nervous because she was “rusty.”

“I definitely got a little emotional. I don’t think I've ever been this nervous to do the show. I’m a little rusty,” she said.

Derek, on the other hand, decided to go all out for the dance, to make it truly memorable. Nerves and caution be damned.

“I love dancing with Julianne because we’re very similar in our minds, what we want to do and what we think looks good. Julianne is an absolute superstar. This girl is incredible. I’m so proud of her,” he gushed to the same publication.

Watching the video below, most would argue that both are absolutely incredible.
