Derek Hough Buys LA ‘Love Nest’ for Cheryl Cole

Rumors about a possible romance between the Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough have been around for many months, roughly weeks after Cheryl filed for divorce from husband Ashley. Now, the two are about to be moving in together, it has emerged.

Now Magazine reports that, in his bid to be super supportive of Cheryl, professional dancer Derek has bought for her a super luxury apartment in Los Angeles, in which they will start their life together.

The acquisition of the place is not new – sources tell the tab Derek bought it back in November – but it’s just recently that he told Cheryl about it, presenting to her as the perfect place for the both of them.

“The 25-year-old dancer has bought a £400,000 condo in LA for Cheryl, 27, to rest her sleepy head in during her quest for US stardom – and what a pad it is!” Now writes.

“The 1,700sq ft apartment comes with an open-plan living and dining area, with wooden flooring and an enviable skylight,” says the same publication.

Pictures of the new pad are now out in the print issue of the same magazine, now out at newsstands.

According to an unnamed source, the mere prospect of moving in with Cheryl has been keeping Derek in very high spirits in recent months, so much so that he came nearly close to ruining his own surprise to her.

“Derek snapped up the property in November – he was over the moon with it. He fell in love with its modern décor and proximity to LA’s buzzing nightlife, as well as the vast array of nearby film and TV studios,” explains the tipster.

Derek and Cheryl are yet to “go public” with their romance, presumably because she needs some time before she does that, lest she has to go through another public breakup.

It is believed the two, who have been good friends for quite a while, became romantically involved as he offered her comfort in the aftermath of the divorce. Just recently, they went on vacation in Cape Town, looking very much like a head-over-heels-in-love couple.
