On Tuesday, Mountain View-based Internet giant Google announced that the rollout of the Google Play Services 3.2 to Android devices around the world has been completed.

The deployment was meant to provide increased performance capabilities and lower power needs, while also offering improvements to Location Based Services, maps, InstantBuy, Google+, and Photo Sphere, the company said in a blog post.

Furthermore, Google announced an updated Google APIs emulator image for developers of Android applications, with the new Google Play Services 3.2 included inside (available through the Android SDK Manager).

Among the enhancements included in the release, we can count a low-power mode in the Fused Location Provider, support for hardware-based GPS geofencing, as well as a new Snapshot feature in the maps API.

Furthermore, the Google Play Services 3.2 came with a simplified sharing control for Google+ sign-in, and with a compass mode in the Photo Sphere viewer.
