Coming to offer some more variety on the audio front, Denon has just issued a press release in which it trumpets the impending availability of several new headphones, both in-ear and over the ear, all of which feature the Radial Cascade Damper noise dampening technology.

The list of in-ear earphones that Denon unleashed includes the AH-C560R and AH-C260R, both of which boast a metal or plastic construction combined with elastomer for the housing.

The other two headphones use an over ear design and go by the names of AH-D510R and AH-D310R, them coming with an aluminum construction and foam cushions for the ear pads.

There is also a very small gap between the band of the headphones and the wearer's head, for an extra touch of comfort.

All four share the same major asset, namely the Radial Cascade Damper noise dampening technology, which makes sure that touched cables don't cause too much interference.

The newcomers also have the advantage of being compatible with the iPod and iPhone and have in-line controls for volume and track.

Needless to say, a mic is also included, so that one may perform voice calls whenever such a thing happens to be required.

“The headphone category represents a great opportunity for a quality brand like Denon and remains a key focus for our business moving forward. Our comprehensive line of high-performance models provides consumers with the ideal choice for every taste, musical listening preference and budget,” said Phil Cohn, the company’s Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

“Now that music has truly ‘gone mobile,’ there is increasing demand among discriminating consumers for a dramatically enhanced audio experience, as well as total comfort and the convenience of easy iPod/iPhone control and command,” he added.

“Denon is committed to meeting this consumer demand, and setting new headphone standards for performance, comfort and value,” he went on to saying.

The AH-D510R and AH-D310R are priced at $99.99 and $69.99, respectively, whereas the AH-C560R sells for $99.99 and the AH-C260R for $49.99. They should start selling soon.
