The former Chicago Bulls player is currently in North Korea with a team of ex NBA players to honor Kim Jong-Un with a demonstration for his birthday. People were expecting a lot of awkwardness at the festivity, but no one said that Dennis Rodman would be singing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”

Dennis has already received a lot of criticism for his visit to North Korea, as relations between Korea and the United States are tense at the moment. His singing will definitely not aid any further relations, or his dignity for that matter.

The video shows a hoarse-voiced Rodman struggling through the first bars of “Happy Birthday” as spectators in the arena timidly join in to wish the Korean leader all the best on his birthday. Rodman stated on numerous occasions that Kim remained one of his closest friends.

He even turned against the American media, going into a full rant earlier this week, when he was questioned by a CNN anchor whether he would use his friendship to help free a US citizen that's currently being held by Korea without any charges.

He has since apologized, claiming that he had consumed alcohol before the interview.
