The set of 'Blonde and Blonder', starring Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards, located in Canada, has been constantly filled with paparazzi, especially after the most recent stunt Richards pulled. The actress, upset that the media was harassing and following her all over the place, took a paparazzo's laptop and hurled it over the balcony, hitting tow women who were sitting in the hotel lounge.
After the incident, the producers of the comedy said that Denise did not throw the laptop on purpose, claiming to the four winds that the entire mishap was just an accident. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police did not file any charges against the actress but, still, she had to make a public statement to apologize for her act that led to the destruction of one's property and to a woman being admitted into hospital for treatment.
'I'm not justifying my behavior. It was wrong. I saw one of the photographers, went up to him and offered to give him a nice few shots and asked him to please leave so we can focus on our scene. He wouldn't and he got really belligerent and he was saying very vulgar, nasty things to me and made a derogatory remark about my family. I just did what I did and I feel terrible', Richards tells 'Access Hollywood'.
However, no matter how sorry she is, her spokesperson says that the paparazzi are lucky that Richards didn't get her hands on other things she could have thrown: 'Based on the actions of the paparazzi, they are lucky their laptops are the only things that were tossed over the balcony'.
Shooting for the comedy was resumed after the producers and the police reached an agreement that charges would not be filed. Denise Richards, though, still has to pay for the photographer's laptop as well as for the hospital fees for the old woman who was injured in the altercation.
