14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Moore is back from rehab. The actress, who went off the radar after the January 23 incident that put her in the hospital, is believed to have received help at the Cirque Lodge center in Utah. She is now in LA.
Late last week, word got out in the press that Demi had completed her treatment and left rehab, but that she would not return to LA for a while longer.
It was believed she wanted to stay out of town for a while longer to avoid the press and the paparazzi, as we also informed you at the time.
TMZ has confirmation that Demi is now back in LA, having flown here on a private jet the other night. It also has photos of the actress touching down.
“A healthy-lookin' Demi Moore touched down in L.A. on a private jet last night... the first time she's been seen in public since her whip-it induced medical emergency back in January,” the celebrity e-zine says.
“Moore – who was reportedly vacationing in Turks and Caicos following a stint in treatment – was greeted with a big 'ol bear hug by a mystery woman who was waiting on the tarmac,” the report further says.
Indeed, the actress seemed healthier than she did in early January, when she made a red carpet appearance that got the tabloids saying she most likely suffered from an eating disorder.
Whether she ever received treatment for severe anorexia and drug addiction, as she is said she did, remains unclear.
Shortly after Moore was rushed to the hospital for seizures believed to have been triggered by whip-its, her rep issued a statement to say she would be seeking “professional assistance” for exhaustion and to improve her health.
This was the only official comment he ever made on her condition.
However, now that Demi has been seen in public for the first time post-rehab, chances are a statement will also be coming.
