“I’m 47,” the star tweets back

Reports say Demi Moore paid an estimated $300,000 on plastic surgery, which allows her to be today, at 47, one of the best looking women in showbiz. Yet, this is a claim she’s denied repeatedly – and continues to do so now, on Twitter, after one of her followers told her that she looked “old” in photos she uploaded on her account, as OK! Magazine can confirm.

As of late, Demi and husband Ashton Kutcher, two of the most fervent Twitterers in the industry, have made a habit of communicating with each other by means of photos of themselves with endearing messages written on their hands, palms and arms. The actress uploaded a few photos of her in which she has “Love wanted and given” written in the palm of her hand. One follower tweeted in response to them, saying, “Sorry but, you look old... specially your neck and cheecks [sic] at the second shot... i’m really sorry.”

Understandably, the star did not take this well, writing back “I’m 47, how am I supposed to look?” hinting again that she is, indeed, a natural beauty as she repeatedly claimed in the past as well. Still, the follower who made the cruel comment seems to be the only one to think so, as other fans were quick to point out. “I am mortified by that persons comment, if I look half as good as you when I’m 39 I’ll be estactic let alone 49! You look FANTASTIC!” one writes.

“Demi, you look great. So sad that some people have to put others down to try and feel good about themselves,” says another follower. Another, more to the point, posted a link with a photo of the person who made the comment, as per reports in the US media, as if to show that some people are quick to point out the flaws in others before even thinking, let alone acknowledge their own.

As also noted above, the actress denied on many occasions that she had any surgery to look younger. As a side note, Demi is said to have gotten everything done, from facelift to knee rejuvenation surgery, which is reportedly the most challenging for any surgeon because the area makes it impossible to hide the scars.
