Demi Moore is not rehab but receiving “spiritual counseling” from Kabbalah, says report

After her shocking emergency hospitalization last week, Demi Moore was said to have gone straight to rehab to get help for a reported drug addiction. It turns out she hasn't.

E! Online claims to have it on good authority that, most likely, Demi was let go from the hospital and sent home.

She's now receiving “spiritual counseling,” which must mean she's gotten into some sort of program from the Kabbalah center she's a regular at.

“While rumors have surfaced suggesting she’s already entered a residential rehab facility (with Utah’s Cirque Lodge among the most speculated upon), sources tell E! News that as of last week, at least, Moore was not enrolled in such a program,” the celebrity e-zine writes.

“Her exact whereabouts are uncertain, as she has yet to surface in public since her dramatic hospitalization, though as of Sunday she was not yet back at her Beverly Hills home,” says E!.

“However, sources close to the Striptease star tell E! News that Moore has been receiving some sort of 'spiritual counseling',” the same report argues.

In other words, she's turning to her church for help in this time of need, when she's reportedly dealing with a vast array of issues, ranging from an eating disorder to a substance addiction and a broken heart.

The 911 call to summon medics to Demi's house after suffering seizures and lapsing into semi-consciousness has been released to the public but it's heavily edited to leave out all references to drugs, considered violation of privacy, as we also reported over the weekend.

Of course, that's not stopping the rumor mill from turning.

Word online has it that Demi, heartbroken by the split from Ashton Kutcher (and his betrayal, which led to it) was doing whip-its at the time she went into seizure, at home with friends – and perhaps daughter Rumer as well.

Other reports claim she's also suffering from an eating disorder and might be drinking again.

Officially, Demi's hospitalization was due to “exhaustion.” Her rep hasn't addressed any other rumor of the many making the rounds online right now – and he probably never will.
