14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Moore finally responded to Ashton Kutcher’s December divorce filing the other day, with court documents revealing that she’s asking for spousal support from him. She was “really hurt” by him and that’s why she’s seeking revenge, says a new report.
News that she wanted money from her soon to be ex-husband came as a shock especially since, according to reports, she’s better off than he is.
In the end, it was said, this was just a simple case of a scorned (and cheated on) wife looking for a little payback.
TMZ says that this is precisely what is going on: because she put up with his infidelities until she could take no longer and because he humiliated her, Demi is out to paint him as the bad guy – and make him pay through his nose, if possible.
“Demi Moore may be rich and famous, but she's no different from millions of scorned wives seeking revenge – and that's why she wants spousal support from Ashton Kutcher, despite the fact that she's richer than him,” the celebrity publication writes.
However, even with Demi portraying Ashton as “a bad husband,” chances are she won’t get any spousal support.
“There is no way a judge would ever give Demi spousal support. Short story: she doesn't need it and she won't get it. A source close to Demi tells us she was ‘really hurt’ by Ashton, whom the source called a ‘bad husband.’ The source would not use the word revenge, but the sentiment was clearly there,” TMZ goes on to say.
Even if she won’t get spousal support, her asking for it in court documents ensures she gets more from Ashton under the financial agreement they’re still talking about, the same media outlet writes.
So, even without this money, Demi still gets something. She also has the “satisfaction” of knowing she told the world what a bad husband Ashton was in the final days of their marriage.
As we also informed you the other day, the date she lists as the separation date is after the night Ashton spent with random women he picked up in a bar, as he partied alone – on their 6th wedding anniversary.
