14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Moore has left the rehabilitation center where she'd been receiving treatment for substance addiction and an eating disorder. She will not be returning to LA anytime soon, and remains “on vacation,” says a new report.
E! Online can confirm that the star, who was rushed to the hospital in January after suffering some sort of seizure brought on by whip-its (allegedly), is now out.
However, even though she's completed her treatment, Demi won't come back home right now, presumably because she wants to put more distance between herself and temptation, as well as between herself and the media, for a little longer.
“Demi Moore has left Utah's Cirque Lodge. Sources exclusively confirm to E! News that the Margin Call star has checked out of rehab at the celeb-favored treatment center,” the e-zine says.
Right now, Demi remains in hiding at an undisclosed location, where she's to continue her recovery back to good health.
“We can confirm that Moore remains 'on vacation' at an undisclosed location,” E! Says.
An unnamed source who claims to be well in the know with the star's condition says that it'll be a while longer before she comes back to LA.
“She's in no rush to get back to LA. She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people,” the tipster explains.
Fans must know that Demi started to spiral out of control shortly after word got out in the tabloid press that her husband Ashton Kutcher cheated on her again, on their wedding anniversary no less.
She started losing weight and, though she never said anything about it, fans started to worry that she might have relapsed into drug or alcohol use.
Weeks after the scandal broke, Demi announced her separation from Ashton, but would not go into details.
Even later, she was rushed to the hospital for what is believed to have been a bad reaction to drugs, but which her rep said was “exhaustion.”
