Demi Moore Joins the Celebrity Stripper Crowd

And she looks totally hot

Everybody's naked today. I can't find any reasonable explanation for that - maybe it's just a coincidence - but after those hot Adriana Lima shots, here comes another bit of eye candy. I mean, maybe some of you will go "ha!" at the thought of Demi Moore in a bikini, but let me tell you this: 45 or not, this lady looks absolutely hot, and she knows it. Yes, I know that the moment I said "hot" a lot of things started popping into your head, accompanied by the inevitable "but she spent $500,000 on plastic surgery" and "these photos look airbrushed to death". Well, you'd be totally right to believe that - but still, Demi Moore is a sight for sore eyes, and we should be happy she's ready to bare a little more skin. What a girl won't do for a little attention...

The fact is, last time we heard from the former Mrs. Willis, she was going on a long rant about how actresses in Hollywood can't get any work at all if they're over a certain age. Up to a point, she was right - the magic of Tinseltown hides a series of very strict rules and stereotypes, and it's hard to make it past the cookie cutter, especially if you're not in your twenties anymore - but Demi's rant had a hidden message to it. It was something along the lines of "look at me, I spent so much money on plastic surgery and still I can't get a decent job". Now that sounds a little bit different - and it's not ageism so much as pride and a tiny bit of hypocrisy, seeing how she always seemed to suggest that her plastic surgeries make her somehow superior to other actresses her age who have not gone the Nip&Tuck route. Even so, Demi is one of those rare examples of successful plastic surgery - so we may as well enjoy the sight.

In the end, Demi sure has a lot of reasons for concern - her eldest daughter Rumer's not-so-subtle but inevitably failed dashes for celebrity for once - plus she is in fact married to a man who is a lot younger than her and I'm sure there's plenty of pressure to stay in shape for him. But so far, her efforts to come back into the spotlight have not included stripping, so I take it she's either feeling a little more adventurous today or she's getting a little bit desperate. Anyway, I'm not complaining. You know what they say: her loss - our gain.
