14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Moore might have been the one to decide it was time to pull the plug on her marriage to Ashton Kutcher but, according to the latest reports, she's also the one who's trying to make it work again.
Fresh reports in the British tabloids, cited by the Daily Mail, claim that the actress, fresh out of rehab, has decided to reconcile with her cheating ex to make their 6-year marriage work.
Word of this comes fresh on the heels of last week's reports that she was still “obsessing” over him.
A source who claims to be close to Demi says that she's hellbent on a reconciliation, even if that means ignoring everything else.
“Demi definitely isn't over him yet. Her mood right now relies solely on Ashton and how responsive he is to her messages and phone calls,” says the spy.
“If he doesn't message her back for a couple of hours or seems distant in a text, she starts freaking out. While she won't admit it, she is still completely infatuated with him and it's clear she wants him back,” the insider is quoted as saying.
The same report says that Demi is in total denial about the fact that her marriage is over. She doesn't even want to admit it when she sees him with another woman.
In recent weeks, there has been a lot of speculation about Ashton dating Lorene Scafaria.
“Demi doesn't know much about Lorene, as she's been shielded from the media while in rehab. Demi and Ashton have been texting regularly. She seems to be in denial about the fact he is thinking of settling down with another woman and is looking forward to seeing him,” the spy says.
“Demi's friends are worried she doesn't seem to have acknowledged Ashton's new relationship,” adds the insider.
Demi Moore's life spiraled out of control after word got out that Ashton had cheated on her again with some random woman on their 6th wedding anniversary.
Earlier this year, she went to rehab after being hospitalized in January for drug-induced seizures. She was also believed to have developed some form of eating disorder.
