Actress Demi Moore has been rushed to the hospital only a few hours ago, for what is believed to be a substance abuse problem. Her rep confirms that she's now seeking treatment as a in-patient at a specialized facility.

TMZ broke the news, saying someone called for an ambulance at the actress' house. After a checkup, medics ruled it would be better if she was seen by somebody else as well.

“Law enforcement tells us a 911 call was placed at 10:45 PM Monday night. Paramedics responded to Demi's LA home and after assessing her for a half hour, she was transported to a local hospital,” the celebrity e-zine writes.

As per unnamed sources, it is believed Demi has relapsed into her past drug use. She's reportedly in rehab as we speak.

“Sources tell us she is being placed in a facility to 'seek further professional assistance.' Our sources say the treatment is for substance abuse,” TMZ writes.

In a statement to the same media outlet, Moore's publicist doesn't say anything about substance abuse, but he does stress that she's been going through a lot in her personal life.

Demi is now in the process of divorcing her husband of 6 years, Ashton Kutcher, after reports emerged that he cheated on her (again) precisely on their wedding anniversary.

Word has it that she desperately tried to save her marriage but eventually realized that there was no way of going back, so she filed for divorce.

“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends,” her publicist says in the statement.

TMZ also notes that she's pulled out of the biopic “Lovelace,” in which she was supposed to make a cameo scheduled to shoot sometime in the following weeks.
