Demi Moore's mutt, a Yorkshire terrier-chihuahua cross breed, unexpectedly went missing from her Hollywood home at the weekend.

The 43-year-old actress, who is currently living with her lover Ashton Kutcher, has offered an important reward for the safe return of her dog Louie and has also spread posters, written in both English and Spanish, all around her neighborhood in a bid to try and it.

Some of Demi's neighbors said that the dog might have been eaten by wild coyotes.

"Louie is gone. It is probably a coyote that got him.

"There have been a lot of pets that have disappeared from this street over the years.", one of them told America's Star magazine.

Moore's representative, Stephen Huvane, has not revealed the amount of cash being offered as a reward.
