Demi Moore is going after Ashton Kutcher’s money in the divorce and, contrary to earlier reports claiming she wouldn’t really get that much, she actually stands good chances at half because they never signed a prenup before tying the knot.

Insiders say for Radar Online that Demi and Ashton were convinced they were meant to last, so they didn’t even consider the possibility of a prenup before getting married.

However, throughout the years, the dynamic between them changed, to the point where Ashton is now the more famous – and richer – of the two.

Demi believes that she’s entitled to a good share of his money because, without her, Ashton would have never gotten where he is today.

“When they first got together Demi was worth a considerable amount more than Ashton, but obviously that’s changed – drastically!” says the source.

“Ashton is now worth at least $100 million [€76.8 million] whereas Demi’s not been bringing in the big bucks for years. Ashton has his Two and a Half Men contract, which pays him a cool $20 million [€15.3 million] a year — and he’s also invested in several very successful internet startups including Skype and Foursquare,” adds the insider.

According to the tipster, Demi willingly put her career secondly so that Ashton could have his moment in the spotlight and, now that he humiliated her the way he did, she thinks she’s justified in reminding him of that, by making him pay.

“Demi believes she provided crucial guidance to Ashton that helped him get to where he is today, and she thinks it is only fair she is compensated for that now they are no longer together. She’s been unhappy with the settlement talks so far because she feels that Ashton doesn’t recognize the impact she had on his life,” the spy explains.

As we also informed you last week, Demi has finally responded to Ashton’s divorce petition, asking for spousal support.
