Demi doesn’t say more about the new haircut than “New hair!!!!,” which is the tweet that accompanies the photo, but, by the looks of things, she probably had her extensions removed.
As many other stars, Demi too uses extensions on a daily basis and, as it so happens, you don’t even have to take our word for it: there’s a video making the rounds of Demi performing live, when, during a more energetic dance routine, her ring got caught in her hair and she pulled out strands of it – extensions, that is.
In a recent interview with Allure magazine, Demi talked about how much she loved to play with her hair and come up with all sorts of crazy things to do with it.
“I love changing my hair a lot — I think it's fun. I used to always want to dye my hair blue and purple and pink when I was younger,” Demi said, as cited by OMG Yahoo!.
“But I was busy trying to make it in the industry as an actress, and it was hard to go in for auditions with blue hair. And so when I heard of the dip-dye trend, I loved it, and I felt like I could finally dye my hair blue. You know you've made it when you can dye your hair blue,” she added.
These days, Demi is going as a brunette but she’s perhaps one of the few female stars to be able to say she’s tried it all when it comes to hair and especially hair dye: she was a blonde and a redhead, had unusual colors, curls and straight hair.
