14 DAY TRIAL // Demi Lovato is offering fans a taste of what they’re to expect from her upcoming Neon Lights Tour, with the release of the official music video for the single of the same name, her third off the “Demi” album.
As usual, you can see the “Neon Lights” official video in full and in HD above. The latter is recommended because the visuals are truly something else.
The video has Demi shrugging off her former Disney image some more, by unleashing her wild and colorful side, though, make no mistake about it, there is nothing sleazy about this release.
Unlike fellow Disney stars, Demi is growing up as an artist in a less scandalous manner, though her fans know that she too has had her rough patches some time ago. Musically though, Demi is making the transition to grownup pop star by relying solely on her talent and not employing the shock tactics so favored by record labels.
“Neon Lights” is fresh and beautiful, energetic and hot / sensual without once falling into the other extreme and becoming sleazy. I am not a fan of Demi’s music in particular, but this song and its visual companion are just perfect.
